Niagra Falls Ontario

Yesterday in Niagra Falls Ontario I competed in the Casino Niagra Half Marathon. The course was great, a flat straight point to point course with some downhills to the finish line in the last 2k.
I finished third behind friends of mine Mark Ledo and Josh Cassidy. My official time was 1:11 but they started the race without me, as I was attempting to get a short warm up in. By the time I got past the crowds of runners waiting for their race to begin, I was a good 4 minutes behind right off the get go. It didn't effect my placing as I wouldn't of beaten either of them anyway but as far as I'm concerned my time was 1:07.01 which is what I had on my watch.
Regardless either time was faster then I thought I was going to go and I did still get some prize money for third place, so overall I am happy with the race.
