High School
• From 1996-98 May competed in the 1500m for his hometown Wallaceburg District Secondary School Tartans. May was the first wheelchair athlete to compete in high school track in Kent County and still holds the County meet record in the wheelchair 1500m. During his three year career May captured three Kent County titles, two SWOSSA titles, competed at OFSAA all three years and won an OFSAA Silver medal in 1996. In addition to his on the track resume he was awarded the Most Improved track athlete once, the Most Valuable Player twice, as well as the Outstanding Contribution to the Athletic Program Award and earned a school letter. In only a three year career May managed to be one of the most successful athletes in school history!
