BAD NEWS!!

This summer I was planning to try out to make the Ontario team for the Canada Games. At first I was told that I would be a canadiate to make the squad but upon further investigation of the rules, I have been informed that I am not eligable to compete at the Games.
The following is the explanation I recieved:
As per the 2005 Canada Summer Games Athletics Technical Package, rule 5, “Competition: Athletics Canada and IAAF rules, ISMWSF rules for wheelchair events”, apply. This being said, as per ISMWSF, rule 145 Para 3, “For classes T51-T54) Progression by any other method except the competitor pushing on the wheels or hand rims will result in disqualification.”
