Canadian Paralympic Track & Field Chamipionships

Over the weekend Jeff competed in the 2005 Canadian Paralympic Track & Field Chamipionships in Regina Saskatchwan.
During the three day event May placed second in the 1500m & 5000m events and was third in the 400m & 800m. The second place results are May's best finish at the Canadian Championships (he was 3rd in the 800m in 2003).
"The 800m and 1500m were the most exciting events for me. I beat a couple couple of guys I had never beaten before who are multiple time Paralympians. I was even in the lead of the 1500m for about 2 and a half laps but i just got beat down the homestretch by about 5-10 meters our finishing times were only a second apart." May explained.
